How it works
Our tech volunteer recruitment service is free, easy and eligible to charities registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission (ACNC).
1. You Talk
Share with us what kind of technical support you’re looking for and let’s scope out a volunteer project together.
2. We Recruit
We’ll leverage our resources and networks to source volunteer(s) that have the skills you need to tackle the project.
3. We Connect
We’ll make intros and/or provide opportunities to meet volunteers at events, ensuring you’re set up for success.
4. You Shine
You and the volunteer(s) are off to the races! All the while our team is here to support you and showcase your impactful work.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: PAUSING NEW CHARITY REQUESTS
To better manage capacity, sustain quality, and ensure care for every charity we support, tekFoundation is pausing all new requests for its tech volunteer matching services. We’re currently working with our existing partners plus there are close to 30 charities on our waitlist. This means we are not accepting any additional requests at this time. We know this is a big change. We’ve always welcomed enquiries year-round, and we’re deeply grateful for the community’s interest. This temporary pause allows us to:
Manage current capacity, and the relationships we care deeply about as responsibly as possible.
Prioritise funding for sustainability over the next 12 months so we can continue to serve you.
